Burlington Aquatic Devilrays Update

Thank you to all of the staff, parents, and swimmers of the Burlington Aquatic Devilrays who have reached out to my office and members of council to share your concerns.

I understand how deeply upsetting this process has been for the swim team, and how potentially disruptive this is for parents and children especially. I am aware of every communication our office received on this item, and I hear and understand your frustrations and concerns.

Committee and Council will be discussing this matter with staff in-camera next week. Like members of the community, I have many questions about what happened and will join the meeting with the goal to get some meaningful answers to the community as soon as possible. Please allow Council some time for this.
