Mayor and Councillor Bentivegna Submit Motion to Request for the Province to Issue MZO to Protect Millcroft Golf Course Green Space

Our last hope to save parks and open space in Millcroft, currently operating as a golf course, is to ask the Premier and Minister of Municipal Affairs and Housing to issue a Minister’s Zoning Order to preserve the current greenspace zoning.

Council will vote next Tuesday (July 16) on a resolution from myself and Councillor Angelo Bentivegna requesting the province grant our MZO. One of the required steps to seek an MZO is a council resolution, or a letter from the Mayor.
