I'm excited to invite you to submit a photograph of Burlington to celebrate the natural beauty of our wonderful city! Whether it’s a sunrise over Lake Ontario, the unique landscapes of the Niagara Escarpment, or the serene trails that make Burlington unique, we want to showcase your favourite scenes of Burlington in a special 2025 calendar.

How to Participate

  • Submit your best photo(s) in landscape orientation that captures the beauty of Burlington. This could be anything from landscapes, wildlife, cityscapes, or scenic views within Burlington.

  • Submissions are open to all residents of Burlington so whether you're a seasoned photographer or an amateur with a great eye, we encourage you to participate!

Honorarium

  • 12 photographs will be selected, with each photo featured in the Mayor’s 2025 Burlington Calendar with full credit given to each photographer by name.

  • $100 honorariums will be given to each selected photographer.

  • Photographers will be recognized at a ceremony hosted by Mayor Meed Ward and showcased on the Mayor’s social media channels.

Deadline & Details

  • All photo submissions must be received by Friday, December 6, 2024 via email to mayor@burlington.ca with the subject line "Burlington’s Beauty".

  • Submission to include name of photographer to be listed on the calendar and the location the photo was taken.

  • Photo submitted shall be in landscape orientation.

  • We encourage submissions from students; however, parental authorization is required for full participation.
