The City is looking for feedback on a development application for 2030 Caroline Street

View the City's Preliminary Public Notice - 2030 Caroline StreetCarriage Gate Homes has made an application on behalf of Inaria Burlington Inc. to amend the Official Plan and Zoning for the property located at 2030 Caroline Street.

The proposed development is for a 28-storey mixed use building with 302 residential units and 382 square metres of non-residential area at-grade as well as a 6-storey above grade parking structure with a green roof adjacent to an existing 17-storey residential building bounded by Caroline Street, Elizabeth Street, Maria Street, and John Street.

A total of 277 vehicle parking spaces are proposed for the development provided through 2 levels of underground parking containing 62 parking spaces and 5 levels of above-grade parking containing 215 parking spaces. Vehicular access to the underground parking is proposed to be provided via John Street and the above-grade parking is proposed to be accessed via Elizabeth Street.

No decisions about this application have been made yet. The City is asking for your feedback before they make a recommendation to the Planning and Development Committee of Council to either approve or refuse the application. Any written comments you may have about the proposal can either be mailed or e-mailed to the planner assigned to this file. Your comments will be included in the staff report about the application which will be posted on the City’s web site.
