Residents J.M. and T.P ask: What was the approximate cost of the Canada Day fireworks and what was the attendance?Response: The approximate cost of fireworks on Canada Day is $1,000.00/minute.  Our fireworks display in 2016 was just under 18 minutes in length. Attendance for Canada Day is estimated at 60,000.  Our cost per participant for the event in 2015 was $0.70. We are still finalizing expenses in 2016 so that number is not yet available.
