Sharman, Stolte and Kearns who brought their background to how we can have proper oversight with this item. I want to thank staff for inviting an audit of their work. There is no shame in making a mistake, the issue is not learning from it. Key deliverables, status updates - those are the tools to help us ensure the work is carried out. This is a good sign of working together. • 2019 COMMUNITY SURVEY RESULTS — Corporate Communications and Government Relations Department report, moved by Ward 4 Councillor Shawna Stolte at committee.Receive and file corporate communications and government relations department report CC-01-20 providing the 2019 community survey results.Carried unanimously by Council.Staff report: CC-01-20 2019 Community Survey Results;Appendices: CC-01-20 Appendix A Burlington Community Survey Draft Final Report Jan 13 2020 / CC-01-20 Appendix B City of Burlington Community Survey Presentation Jan 13 2020 / CC-01-20 Appendix C Project_Detailed_Report_2019_Community_Survey.MY TAKE:I think these results are outstanding and everyone should be proud. Our staff who deliver this service should be proud of this. It was really gratifying to see the improvement in community engagement piece. It’s a real testament to this Council because these questions were asked on our watch. I’m proud of this team, this council and proud of our staff communications and informing the public on what is happening at City Hall. In terms of how we use this information, I agree with staff and the consultant, it’s one tool, not the only tool. We’re not only listening but we’re also acting on some of the things the public has told us here. — Burlington Mayor Marianne Meed Ward—*Posted by John Bkila, Mayor’s Media and Digital Communications Specialist
