Burlington Joins in National AccessABILITY Week - May 26 to June 1
Please see below a media release from the City of Burlington.Burlington, Ont. – May 21, 2019 — People of all abilities are encouraged to participate in National AccessABILITY Week by attending ReadAbility, a series of story-time sessions being held at various branches of Burlington Public Library. ReadAbility sessions are being organized by the Burlington Accessibility Advisory Committee, in partnership with Burlington Public Library, and involve a person living with a disability reading a story about their disability. After the story, people in the audience will have the opportunity to ask questions about the story or the reader’s experiences.
