Today, I’m celebrating all the women in the Region of Halton who stepped up to serve as Halton Elected Representatives (H.E.R.) ahead of International Women's Day tomorrow (March 8).Thank you to everyone who joined this morning for the coffee and conversation, sharing our experiences as women elected officials -- and to Halton Regional Police Services for lending us their HQ Boardroom to host the event.Women make up 44.9% of representatives in Halton Region at all levels from school board trustee to federal-level MP.
