Burlington Mayor Marianne Meed Ward Acclaimed to 2nd Term on AMO Board's Large Urban Caucus
I’m happy to announce that I have been acclaimed to the Association of Municipalities of Ontario (AMO) Large Urban Caucus (LUC) Board of Directors for a second term from August 2022-2024.Congratulations are also in order for Halton Regional Councillor Colin Best for being acclaimed as AMO Board President. I’ve been fortunate enough to sit on the Large Urban Caucus for the past two years and I look forward to continuing the great progress we’ve been making.This is a great opportunity to once again bring Burlington’s voice to the AMO table. I’m grateful to represent our city on a provincial stage. When the voices of various Ontario cities work together, united, the positive impact is huge.
