Burlington road closure of South Service Road, at Fraser Drive, March 25-29 for Regional infrastructure work

A notice to residents and drivers in the area, a portion of South Service Road will be closed next week (March 25-29) for work part of Halton Region's wastewater infrastructure and efforts to reduce the risk of basement flooding.The Region is rehabilitating wastewater sewer mains, laterals and maintenance holes on the South Service Road at Fraser Drive to 250 metres east of Fraser Drive.In order to reduce the length of time for the construction project, South Service Road will be temporary closed to all traffic at Fraser Drive (weather pending) from Monday, March 25 to Friday, March 29.The road will be closed to local traffic and deliveries only at the following intersections:

  • Fraser Drive at Harvester Road; and
  • South Service Road at Paletta Court.

Local traffic will be permitted to either side of the closure and detours and signage will be in place in the area.For more details about planning ahead for the construction activity, please see the screenshots below of the notice sent out by Halton Region.
