Burlington's The Platter Company expands into The Market

Burlington-based catering business The Platter Company has expanded and opened The Market in Aldershot. Ward 1 Councillor Kelvin Galbraith and I attended their grand opening on Oct. 1.The expansion allows this local business to further serve the Burlington community and offer more to customers by way of frozen gourmet meals, artisan meats, cheese, fresh bread and more.This year has posed many challenges for our businesses, particularly the food and catering industry, and it’s inspiring to see how The Platter Company has adjusted and thrived under the new circumstances brought on by the COVID-19 pandemic.It’s a true testament to the resiliency and creativity of our wonderful Burlington businesses and the community that supports them.Congratulations to Jacqui Cronin and her team for expanding this business and being agile during this global pandemic.
