Celebrate Creativity this November with Burlington Public Library's BurlLitFest

*Please see below a news release issued by the Burlington Public Library.BURLINGTON, ON -- Oct. 11, 2022 -- BurlLitFest is back! Burlington Public Library is excited to announce its 2022 Burlington Literary Festival Lineup. After a fully virtual event in 2021, the library is happy to be offering many events and workshops in person this fall. The celebration of authors, books, and creativity runs the full month of November.This year, CBC host and bestselling author, Elamin Abdelmahmoud, headlines the BurlLitFest lineup. His hit memoir, Son of Elsewhere, is a one-of-a-kind reflection on Blackness, pop culture, and the challenges and rewards of finding your way in the world.

Further highlights include an intimate writer's workshop with author and psychotherapist, Farzana Doctor, a lively evening with military historian, Tim Cook, and a gathering of stories and songs with Susan Aglukark.This year’s festival includes a combination of in person and virtual programming.
