Halton moves to Red/Control Level, with revised instructions for businesses from Medical Officer of Health

*Please see below a news release issued by the Region of Halton.The Regional Municipality of HaltonFor Immediate ReleaseFebruary 12, 2021On February 12, 2021 the Province announced that Halton Region will move to the Red/Control Level of the Province’s COVID-19 Response Framework as of 12:01 a.m. Tuesday, February 16, 2021. The Province is gradually transitioning each region from shutdown measures to a revised and strengthened COVID-19 Response Framework: Keeping Ontario Safe and Open. The individual Stay-at-Home Orders for 27 public health regions, including Halton Region, will remain in place until the new rules take effect on Tuesday, February 16, 2021.As an added measure, Dr. Meghani has issued revised instructions to businesses to keep staff and patrons safe. The instructions replace and supersede instructions effective December 21, 2020 and are in effect as of 12:01 a.m. February 16, 2021.
