Halton Region Special Council Meeting Called for May 13

Halton Regional Council will be holding a virtual Special Council Meeting next week on Wednesday, May 13.Regional staff will provide updates to Regional Council related to the COVID-19 Emergency. Council meetings are filmed and streamed live, and video recordings are typically published within one business day on the Region's webpage here.Due to precautions being taken due to the COVID-19 emergency, in-person delegations will not be permitted at this meeting. Written delegations may be submitted by email to the Regional Clerk at regionalclerk@halton.ca.The special council meeting is scheduled to start at 9:30 a.m. Here is the planned agenda (Halton Region Special Council Meeting Agenda 05-20 May 13):

  1. MO-14-20 - COVID-19 Pandemic - Public Health Update and Recovery Considerations;
  2. CA-06-20 - COVID-19 Emergency - Regional and Local Service;
  3. FN-18-20 – COVID-19 Emergency – Financial Status, Implications and Projections for Halton Region and Local Municipalities; and
  4. FN-19-20 – COVID-19 Emergency – Deferral Options for the Local Municipalities Installment Payment Due Dates to Halton Region.
