HDSB Trustees Planning Three Meetings For Public Feedback on Class Size, E-Learning and Hiring Practices.

Trustees from the Halton District School Board (HDSB) are hosting three local Education Action meetings to get feedback from parents, students and community members to help inform their submission to the Ministry of Education as part of consultations on class size, e-learning and hiring practices.The first meeting is today (May 2) at Burlington's Dr. Frank J. Hayden Secondary School, 3040 Tim Dobbie Dr., at 7 p.m. in the cafeteria.Other dates set for these meetings include:

The agenda is expected to be interactive with trustees briefly setting the context and then participants working together to provide feedback around the three key subjects outlined above. If you have a wi-fi enabled device, such as a phone, tablet or laptop, feel free to bring it to the meeting to help in the feedback-gathering process.The website HaltonEducationAction.ca has been created to share information about the Ministry’s consultations and you can RSVP your attendance, find maps to the meeting locations, and request a copy of the final submissions there too.And if you can't attend a meeting, but still want to provide your feedback, you can do so at the above website between May 2-13, 2019 only.
