Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II, Canada's Head of State & Longest-Reigning British Monarch, Has Died

We are saddened by the passing of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II.In the Queen’s honour, flags at Burlington City Hall and facilities will remain at half-mast until sunset on the day of the funeral and our Pier will be lit white tonight.Queen Elizabeth was the longest-reigning British monarch, and Canada’s head of state, and we honour her life-long dedication to public service. She was a true role model of steadfastness, having led for seven decades while displaying courage, dignity and grace.Her loss is felt across Burlington, Ontario, and Canada, as well as globally.
