Improvements coming to Lakeshore Public School park

Lakeshore swingsCity staff  is planning improvements to the Lakeshore Public School playground in August 2016. Improvements include the construction of:

  • new swing equipment
  • new engineered wood fibre protective surfacing
  • new site furnishings.

The work will take 3 to 4 weeks to complete, depending on weather. To ensure the safety of residents, the playground will be closed during construction and residents will need to use one of the other playgrounds in the area:

  • Central Park – 2299 New St.
  • Port Nelson Park – 3000 Lakeshore Rd.
  • Lions Park – 471 Pearl St.
