The City of Burlington and its citizen committees are hosting a volunteer open house Thursday, Oct. 22 from 6:30 p.m. to 8 p.m. to recruit volunteers for the city’s committees and boards.The event details are:Thursday, Oct. 22, 2015Burlington City Hall426 Brant St., Burlington6:30 to 8 p.m.Everyone is welcome to come out and learn about the committees and see why volunteering on a local board or committee can help you to meet new people, share your talents, develop skills, address a common interest and make a difference in your community.
