Joseph Brant Hospital's new patient tower set to open Aug. 21 2017

Construction of the new 7-storey patient tower at Joseph Brant Hospital is on track to open Aug. 21, 2017. The new tower will include:

• A new Emergency Department
• 9 new Operating Rooms and a new post-anaesthetic care unit
• An expanded Diagnostic Imaging department and associated services
• Expanded medical, surgical and outpatient services
• An expanded cancer clinic
• An expanded Intensive Care Unit (ICU)
• An expanded and modernized laboratory
• 70 percent single-patient rooms across the hospital
