Mayor Meed Ward’s Weekly Update: Jan 4 - Jan 9, 2022

The first week of 2022 brings with it many challenges, as we are all aware.As a local community, I know we continue to do the right things (scheduling vaccinations and boosters, wearing masks, isolating when sick) and I commend each and every one of you for finding the strength and resilience to stay the course. This is not easy for any of us and the more we check in on each other with phone calls or texts or neighborhood walks, the more we can support one another's mental health and well-being.I want to remind everyone of our page of local support resources and encourage you to reach out anytime you need help. There are no quick or easy answers right now, but there is always compassion and kindness to be shared as we go. This pandemic is truly asking us to be the very best and strongest versions of ourselves and it's a tall order, I know.
