Mayor Meed Ward’s Weekly Update: July 19-25, 2021

Hello Burlington,The Province moved Ontario into Step 3 of its safe reopening plan last Friday (July 16), earlier than expected, and that meant more of our favourite businesses opening up and/or expanding their services, as we well as a chance for us to return to more of the activities we have missed, and seeing more of the people we've also missed.I want to thank you all again for continuing to do your part -- following the safety and health guidelines in place, coming out in droves to get vaccinated when you've been eligible to, and continuing with physical distancing and masks indoors as another layer of protection -- these preventative measures and the sacrifices you have all made during the pandemic have helped all us get to where we are now.In addition, they will help ensure we have a safe and enjoyable summer, and a healthy fall.My full weekly update for the days ahead can be found here: Mayors Weekly Update July 19-25_2021.Mayor Marianne Meed Ward
