Mayor Meed Ward’s Weekly Update: March 15-21, 2021

Hello Burlington,Great news as we head into the second half of  March - our two local vaccine clinics opened this past weekend and things are running very smoothly. I am so thrilled that our community is moving into this phase of vaccinations and I can feel the rising optimism from everyone I speak with.Last Monday was International Women's Day and I am still riding high from events that lifted me up and inspired me all week long. In addition to some awesome local events I attended throughout the week, I was thrilled to be hosting a Lunch & Learn last Monday with some amazing women from our community to talk about how they deal with challenges and overcome them to help create a more fair and equal society for us all.
