Good morning Burlington,We've got a busy week ahead of us!Our Standing Committees for May begin this week, starting tomorrow (May 3) -- agendas are available at burlington.ca/calendarThe nomination period for Burlington's 2022 Municipal Election opened today (May 2) at 8:30 a.m. and runs until Aug. 19, 2022 at 2 p.m. Nomination papers can be filed by appointment only withthe Clerks Department at 905-335-7777, ext. 7805 or clerks@burlington.ca. Voting for the electiontakes place between Oct. 11-24, 2022. For information on all registered candidates, information sessions for potential candidates and all election-related details, head to myvoteburlington.caWith the writ period expected to begin this Thursday (May 4), Provincial government business will end aselection campaigning officially gets underway.
