Good morning Burlington,Remembrance Day is this Friday (Nov. 11) and our community will be able join together in reflection either in-person at Veteran Square or virtually.The Royal Canadian Legion Burlington Branch 60's service will begin at 11 a.m. at the Cenotaph, at the north side of City Hall and will also be broadcast by the Legion on their website for anyone who cannot physically attend.Earlier in the day, the Burl-Oak Naval Veterans' will be holding their annual Sunrise Service, starting at 9 a.m., at the Naval Ships Memorial Monument in Spencer Smith Park.For more information on either of these Remembrance Day services, please click here.My full weekly update for Nov. 7-13, 2022 can be found here: Mayor's Weekly Public Update Nov. 7-13, 2022.Have a great week!~ Mayor Marianne Meed Ward
