Mayor Meed Ward’s Weekly Update: November 8-14, 2021

Good Morning Burlington,The coming week brings with it an opportunity to extend special thanks to our veterans on Remembrance Day, November 11th. Our veteran community - many of whom are of advanced age - has again requested that the public avoid coming to Veteran Square beside City Hall as they perform their annual (and much smaller) event this year. I understand their concern about crowds (even as many of us are vaccinated and outdoor spaces are generally safe) due to their higher risk factors, so let's honour that request as we pay our respects to them.
