Mayor Meed Ward’s Weekly Update: October 13-18, 2020

Good morning everyone. I hope you all had an enjoyable Thanksgiving weekend and found ways to enjoy the sunshine and some good food. As our local COVID-19 numbers continue to grow, I urge you all to stay vigilant in following the advice of healthcare experts and avoid interactions with those outside your household when not necessary (school, work, groceries, etc.) for the time being, and reach out to everyone you know who is living on their own to offer friendship and conversation by phone/text/email/facetime/lettermail as we all do our best to connect in new (and old) ways and maintain our mental well-being.Please find my weekly update here, where you can read about my plans for the week ahead (lots of interesting Zoom meetings on tap) along with highlights and links from meetings and media engagements last week: Mayors Weekly Public Update October 13-18 2020
