New Street closed between Martha Street and Guelph Line starting March 21, 2016

The City of Burlington and Halton Region are making improvements to New Street, between Martha Street and Guelph Line, and to several of the streets located in the area of New Street and Drury Lane.Construction to replace the water and wastewater mains on New Street will begin on Monday, March 21, 2016.New Street Road ClosureAs part of the construction, New Street will be closed between Martha Street and Guelph Line starting Monday, March 21, 2016. This closure is anticipated to last until September 2016. Please follow detour routes.All local businesses will remain open throughout the construction period. Local access for residents and businesses will be in place.TransitBurlington Transit users will experience detours and schedule changes from March 21 until September 2016 during the construction on New Street.
