P&D Nov. 6: Public meeting for 22 storey at Brock/Ontario; 7 storey at Upper Middle

2. Statutory Public Meetings:

Statutory public meetings are held to present planning applications in a public forum as required by the Planning Act. This is an information meeting to hear from the public, and allow council members to make preliminary comments to staff on the proposal. No decisions will be made at this meeting. At a future date, staff will bring forward a recommendation report, that will recommend one of approval, refusal, or modified approval.
Recommendation: Receive and file planning and building department report PB-41-17 regarding theproposed zoning by-law amendment for 4063 Upper Middle Road, to permit the development of a seven (7) storey apartment building with 32 units.

Speaking at the meeting

Residents can register to delegate (speak to committee) on any item on the agenda for up to 10 minutes. Advance registration is not required for Statutory Public Meetings, but residents who register will be heard first, in the order the registered: Register as a Delegation, email cityclerks@burlington.ca or phone 905-335-7600, ext. 7481.Any motions or recommendations arising from this meeting will go to City Council for final approval Mon. Nov. 13, 6:30 pm, in Council Chambers. Residents can delegate at council for up to five minutes.
