Proposed Official Plan Open House April 9, 7-8 pm, Haber Community Centre, re updated mapping for the Natural Heritage System and Agriculture System

You are invited to an open house to view these new maps and to ask questions of city and regional  staff about the new mapping, their implications and the process ahead that will lead to further refinements to these maps. As a result, the city is now adding maps to its proposed new Official Plan to incorporate this new provincial mapping.  Report Recommending Adoption of the Proposed New Official Plan A report recommending adoption of Burlington’s proposed new Official Plan will be presented to Burlington City Council at a meeting of the Planning and Development Committee on Tuesday, April 24 at 1:30 and 6:30 p.m. and, if required, Wednesday, April 25 at 9:30 a.m. at City Hall in Council Chambers.A special meeting of Burlington City Council will immediately follow the Planning and Development Committee meeting.If you wish to delegate at the April 24 meeting, you must register by noon on Monday, April 23.
