$1.4m given to 27 community groups helping Halton Region residents

Halton RegionAlmost $1.4 million in funding has been awarded by Halton Region for community programs and projects to help enhance the health and well-being for all Halton residents. This funding, offered through the Halton Region Community Investment Fund in one, two or three year grants, will support 27 programs that address mental health, prevent homelessness, support older adults, children and youth, and address other social needs of Halton’s residents.This year, the following programs will receive funding from the Halton Region Community Investment Fund:

In addition to this program funding, 10 organizations will receive their second installment of a multi-year grant that was awarded in 2015.
