Reminder: Lowville Park Parking Lot Closure; Pedestrian and Cyclist Access Only

*Please see below a media release issued by the City of Burlington.Burlington, Ont. — Sept. 30, 2020 — Residents are reminded that the Lowville Park parking lot is closed until December due to construction. There will be no parking accommodation for Lowville Park use within the park parking lot. Parking By-Law Officers will be on-site to enforce the parking restriction. Vehicles parked illegally will be ticketed and/or towed at the owner’s expense.The park will remain open for pedestrians and cyclists.City View Park (2500 Kearns Rd.) or Hidden Valley Park (1137 Hidden Valley Rd.) are great alternatives for those driving to enjoy Burlington’s stunning views, natural areas and open spaces.

Lowville Park ConstructionAreas of the park under construction will be closed. For your safety, please stay out of the areas marked as closed.Construction of Phase 2 of the Lowville Park Master Plan will include:

  • Picnic areas – renewal of 2 existing picnic areas with improved accessibility
  • Parking lot renewal with new asphalt surface with improved drainage, improved entrance area, additional trees and plants. The number of parking spaces will be kept the same
  • New information signage center to highlight trails and park facilities, including picnic areas
