Rescheduled: Meeting on Berkeley variances, July 14

The Berkeley renderingFurther to my previous two letters mailed to you in May, I have now had the opportunity to reschedule the neighbourhood meeting to hear about minor variances required for The Berkeley development project that encompasses the block of land at Caroline, John, Maria and Elizabeth streets. City Council approved the project in 2010.Meeting details:Date:  Thursday, July 14, 2016Time:  7 p.m.Location:  City Hall, 2nd Floor, Room 247, 426 Brant StreetThe development includes a 17-storey residential condominium with rooftop amenity area facing Maria Street, an 8-storey medical office facing Caroline Street and a 6-storey above ground parking structure in between.Carriage Gate Homes is proceeding with the site plan approval process and it will be necessary to seek some minor variances through the Committee of Adjustment. Residents are invited to learn about the minor variances, ask questions and provide comments at the neighbourhood meeting.
