Please see below a media release issued by the City of Burlington.Burlington, Ont. — Oct. 23, 2019 — The City of Burlington is looking for resident feedback to assist in the review of loose leaf collection, winter maintenance (snow removal) and pre-building permit development approval process. As part of the reviews, the City would like to hear from residents about their satisfaction with these services. Public input will be considered in the development of the final recommendations. The online survey will be open until Nov. 4, 2019 and can be found at getinvolvedburlington.ca/servicereview.
"This engagement will incorporate the “voice of the customer” and will help shape the consultant’s recommendations so it’s important for people to complete the online surveys. The City has always worked hard to deliver efficient, cost-effective and highly valued services to residents." — Tim Commisso, City Manager
The City was approved for up to $250,000 in funding from the Province of Ontario’s Audit and Accountability fund, to conduct independent third-party reviews to find efficiencies while protecting important front-line services. The City is also reviewing the delivery of their corporate fleet as part of these monies. The consultant’s final report will be delivered to the Province by Dec. 31, 2019.Links and Resources
