Tansley Woods Community Centre’s indoor play-space closing for renovations Jan. 8-Feb. 4
Burlington, Ont.—Monday, Jan. 7, 2019— The indoor play-space at Tansley Woods Community Centre will be replaced with a new and improved play experience. Renovations begin Tuesday, Jan. 8 and are expected to last until Feb. 4, 2019.Renovations to the space include:
- Removing and installing a new play structure
- Removing and installing new safety flooring
There will be no service disruptions to regular programs at Tansley Woods Community Centre during the renovation. During the installation of the flooring, between Jan. 28 to Feb. 1, users may notice a smell from the glue used. At times, the odor may be strong but will be harmless to the community centre users. For more information about the project visit burlington.ca/tansleyplayspace or email liveandplay@burlington.ca.The City of Burlington encourages people of all ages to get outside and enjoy the many parks, outdoor spaces, playfields and recreational play experiences that support active living and a healthy lifestyle for all ages, abilities and cultures. Given the space constraints, we had to work hard to find a suitable and compatible play system that the kids would continue to enjoy and be challenged in. We know this area is heavily used and is a great place for kids and families to stay active. We look forward to a quick installation and re-opening of the new play-space in February.”Links and ResourcesBurlington.ca/play
