At the Committee of the Whole meeting June 4, 1pm and 6:30pm, council will be considering a number of items including:

  • recommendation against proceeding with a pilot tree bylaw in Roseland (I support the pilot)

  • proposal to rename Nelson Baseball Park to Casey Cosgrove Baseball Field (I support the renaming)

  • recommendation to refuse a request from Ribfest organizers to extend hours from 11pm to 1am in Spencer Smith Park, Thurs. Aug. 30 for a ticketed DJ dance party to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the Brant Inn (I don’t support going past 11pm on a weeknight)

  • and more. Full agenda is here: COW June 4

Residents can attend the meeting or watch it live online, and can register as a Delegation to speak.
