Trillium grants for poverty, seniors

halton poverty roundtableOntario Trillium Foundation grants were recently announced, and groups working on poverty and with seniors in Halton are among the recipients:

  • Halton Poverty Roundtable is receiving $20,000 over 12 months to convene with key stakeholders to develop a business model that will embed community benefits agreements in poverty reduction strategies in the Halton region.
  • Acclaim Health is receiving $177,400 over 36 months to expand a home care expertise program for Halton's older adults.
