Freeman Station has a website, can now receive donations (and issue tax receipts for over $25) and is taking memberships ($10 annually). We're also selling prints of the Freeman Station ($225 framed or $80 unframed), and holding a fundraiser at Emma's Back Porch on April 28. Join us!Campaign expenses are now posted online. The biggest spender didn't always win, including in Ward 2. My total spent: $20,107.38.Total raised: $8,731.Amount from developers = 0. Contributions under $100=$1,936.02. Contributions over $100= $6,795; Contributions from Burlington residents: 100% (75% living in Ward 2).A new elementary school in the Orchard scheduled to open in 2011 will be named after Ward 2 resident John William Boich, who died last month. It's a fitting tribute to this community builder who devoted a lifetime to educating and mentoring others.The strategic plan for Burlington has begun. Fill out our survey, download a workbook, or host a small group meeting to discuss what you want Burlington to be in 10 years.
