There is a virtual pre-application community meeting for 284 Plains Road Development Inc.'s (Corley Developments Inc.'s) proposed development at 284-292 Plains Rd E on Monday, April 26, 2021 between 7-9 p.m.A public notice for the 284-292 Plains Rd. E. pre-application community meeting was mailed out to all property owners within 120 metres of the property. (Corley Developments Inc.) Weston Consulting is hosting a virtual pre-application community meeting to discuss a proposal to redevelop the property located at 284 and 292 Plains Road East.The proposed development would consist of a 9-storey residential building, containing 156 residential dwelling units, and 195 parking spaces.If 284 Plains Road Development Inc. chooses to pursue this redevelopment, it would require an amendment to the City of Burlington Official Plan and Zoning Bylaw. The current OP designation of the site is Urban Corridor, and the current Zoning is Residential Medium Density (RM1).No development applications have been submitted to the City of Burlington at this time, and the City has not made any decisions on this proposal.A Pre-Application Community meeting has been scheduled to discuss this potential redevelopment, so that the public can provide feedback to 284 Plains Road Development Inc. at this early stage.

During the meeting, City of Burlington Planning Staff will provide an overview of the development application review process, as well as the planning policies in effect on site. Weston Consulting will provide an overview of the proposed development.There will be a question and answer session following the presentation to share your thoughts about the proposal.
