Want to Invite the Burlington Mayor to an Event? Use this Online Form

My office recently revamped and streamlined the way you can invite me to attend or speak at an event and other requests that typically come to the Mayor's Office. This was done to help us better understand your request or the event you're associated with and my ability to participate.Head to the "Invite the Mayor" page online, on the City of Burlington's website, via this link: https://webforms.burlington.ca/Mayors-Office/Invite-the-Mayor.On that page, you'll be asked to provide your contact information and all required details below as accurately as possible. As my calendar is often booked up to 8 weeks in advance, not all requests can be accommodated, though I and my staff will always try our best.If you are looking to request a proclamation, flag raising or congratulatory letter, whether in relation to your event or on its own, there are designated links for each on the webpage. If you're looking for a simply event invitation, then just click the "Continue" button at the bottom of the page.In the event I cannot attend, my office will work with the Deputy Mayor and/or the Ward Councillor to make sure representation from the City of Burlington is available.MY TAKE:Streamlining this process is the perfect way to get you a speedier response to your requests from my office and eliminate back and forth emails if more details or information is needed.
