Yesterday was the 12th meeting of the Burlington COVID-19 Task Force and as we continue to see low numbers in new cases and hospitalizations, we are moving to a monthly schedule going forward with the flexibility to meet more frequently again should circumstances change.Discussions by the group at meeting #12 focused around the new mandatory mask bylaw for indoor public spaces and how we can support the public and business community with resources, signage and directories. We transitioned into how free masks could be distributed to residents in need at common connection points like our food banks and the donations of masks we are seeing thanks to our community's generosity.We also discussed the working group that is creating ideas and resources for fundraising in a post-covid society, and topics that are most relevant to philanthropic groups in this challenging time.Read the full recap here: Burlington COVID-19 Task Force Meeting 12 - Action Items and HighlightsRELATED LINKS:
