Ontario's Big City Mayors Stand with Ukraine, Call for Strict Sanctions, & Immediate End to Military Action

BARRIE, ON, Feb. 25, 2022 -- Today Ontario's Big City Mayors (OBCM) unanimously passed a motion of solidarity with Ukraine, calling for strict sanctions, an immediate end to military action, and welcoming Ukrainians fleeing the country into Canada. I was pleased to second the motion, alongside my colleague Mississauga Mayor Bonnie Crombie. The motion reads as follows:
