Building a Continuing Dialogue with Burlington's Building Community

In my continued efforts to build a dialogue on city issues with our local building community, I am meeting monthly with the Halton chapter of the Building Industry and Land Development (BiLD) Association.The West End Home Builders' Association (WE-HBA) and Ward 6 Councillor Angelo Bentivegna, as Council's representative on Halton's Housing Development Liaison Committee, also attend these meetings -- as do City of Burlington staff, as appropriate.This is a regular touch base with our local building community to talk about general issues, what's coming up, a chance to get their feedback, and to talk about how we approve development applications.Tuesday, May 11 was our third meeting this year, with the next one scheduled for late June.Here is the PDF presentation from our most recent meeting: BILD Meeting Presentation - May 2021.
