Burlington businesses invited to share ideas, challenges at Red Tape Red Carpet Town Hall on March 28
If you're a local business owner in Burlington, please join me for coffee on Thursday, March 28 for a Town Hall on the newly-launched Red Tape Red Carpet Task Force.I announced this new initiative, which I'll be leading alongside my council colleague Ward 1 Councillor Kelvin Galbraith, on Jan. 30 with the goal of identifying and eliminating barriers to growth and new business attraction so that Burlington’s business community can expand and thrive. The Task Force is intended to ensure the business community and business owners of Burlington feel heard, supported and enabled by myself as your Mayor, and your City Council. At the Town Hall, business owners will get the chance to share their stories, ideas and challenges for growing in or relocating their businesses to Burlington. Space is limited to 100 people from the business community, but the tickets are free and available on a first-come, first-served basis through the Red Tape Red Carpet Town Hall eventbrite page my office has created.
