Burlington Council Taking Part in Virtual Indigenous Education Workshop Feb. 14

On Feb. 14, 2022, Burlington Council will take part in a virtual Indigenous Education workshop. Details about how you can watch virtually, take a look at the agenda, and go through the presentation materials are below.Angela Bellegarde, Indigenous Lead -- Reconciliation at Halton's Our Kids Network will lead us in a land acknowledgement, following will be presentations by Darin Wynbenga, Acting-Director and Traditional Knowledge and Land-Use Coordinator with the Mississaugas of the Credit First Nation, and Bryant Peters, College Instructor at Fleming College and Executive Consultant from the Sandy Bay Ojibway First Nation.
