Burlington Foundation Community Fund Granting Program receiving applications Jan. 9, 29

Burlington Foundation’s Community Fund Granting Program addresses key focus areas highlighted through the Vital Signs® report, as well as several field of interest focus areas (including Mental Health & Wellness, Youth & Young Adults, Housing, Environment, Seniors, Poverty, Transportation, Work & Careers, Newcomers & Inclusivity and Performing Arts). The granting envelope for the 2017-18 granting year from Burlington Foundation’s community funds and field of interest funds is $96,000.

Our 2017-18 Community Fund Program includes two categories of grants – seed grants of $2,000 or less, and larger grants between $5,000 – $15,000. See below for more detail.

Seed Grants

The seed grant program is designed to award smaller grants, providing funding for more immediate project needs up to $2,000 through a streamlined application process.

Larger Grants

The larger grant program provides grant awards for initiatives that improve our community through addressing our identified Vital Signs priority needs, promote collaboration, are sustainable, support capacity building and have a lasting community impact. Grants will be awarded at approximately $5,000 – $15,000 per initiative.

Application Deadlines:

Seed Grants: Tuesday, January 9, 2018 at 5:00 pm

Larger Grants: Monday, January 29, 2018 at 5:00 pm
