City of Burlington 2019 Spring/Summer Live and Play guide available Jan. 10

CITY OF BURLINGTON MEDIA RELEASEBurlington, Ont.—Jan. 04, 2019 -- The 2019 Spring/Summer Live and Play guide, featuring listings for city recreation, sport and culture programs, will be available starting Jan. 10 at burlington.ca/play.Registration DetailsOnline registration will take place on the following dates and times:

  • Student theatre
  • Swimming
  • March Break and summer camps

 

Saturday, Feb. 23 9 a.m. Adult 19+ and 55+ spring and summer programs

 The guide’s cover highlights the Borrow-a-Bike program at the Burlington Seniors’ Centre. Seniors can sign out bikes for free. The bikes come with a helmet, basket, and lock and feature easy access cross-bar, shift and stability features like a third wheel.Angela Coughlan pool users should note that Angela Coughlan Pool is closed from March 18, 2019 until spring of 2020 while the facility undergoes a renovation project. Aquatic programs have been moved to other locations to help accommodate higher participation levels. Participants may experience larger than normal demand for aquatic programs during the pool closure.
