City Receives New Application for Infinity Development Group 1396 Guelph Line Proposed Development; Public Invited to Submit Written Comments

The City of Burlington has received a new application for 1396 Guelph Line, a proposed development by Infinity Development Group. There is a dedicated page on the City's website being updated with new details and information at burlington.ca/1396guelph.The applications request Official Plan amendments and Zoning By-law amendments to permit an 11-storey apartment building with 232 dwelling units. The proposed development has a density of 566 units per hectare and a Floor Area Ratio of 4.02:1. Driveway access is proposed from Guelph Line at the north end of the site and 236 parking spaces are proposed, with 8 spaces at grade and 228 spaces in a 3-level underground parking garage.City staff are working on sending a notice in the mail to residents within 120 metres of the site. A notice sign will be posted on the property.City staff are looking at holding a statutory public meeting at the Community Planning, Regulation & Mobility (CPRM) Committee in September 2022. Once details are confirmed, a notice of the meeting will be sent out -- likely later in the summer.The public can submit written comments to staff and/or contact staff if they have questions -- more details on how to do that will be provided at burlington.ca/1396guelph.
