City looking for feedback on development application submitted for 441 Maple Ave. in Burlington's Ward 2

The City of Burlington has received a development application in Ward 2 at 441 Maple Ave. for a Better Life Retirement Residence.The developer, MHBC Planning Ltd., is proposing an 11-storey residential apartment building with 153 units (a density of 547 units per hectare). A total of 164 vehicle parking spaces is proposed within three levels of underground parking, with an additional 15 parking spaces on the adjacent hydro lands through a lease with Hydro One.Vehicles would be able to access the site from Maple Avenue. The building would step down to 9 storeys along Maple Avenue and include a common indoor amenity area on the ground floor of the building, with common outdoor amenity area proposed on the 10th floor.No decisions have been made yet regarding this application, but city staff is asking for feedback from the public.
