Public Meeting Jan. 9 for 1157-1171 North Shore Blvd. development application

The City of Burlington has received a development application for a seniors' living campus at 1157-1171 North Shore Blvd. E. and a public meeting is set for this Wednesday (Jan. 9).The meeting will be held at the Art Gallery of Burlington's Shoreline Room, 1333 Lakeshore Rd. at 7 p.m. No decision has been made on this application yet and city staff are looking to get feedback from the public on the development proposal.The applicants, Spruce Partners Inc. and Amico Properties Inc. (Amica), are looking to put in 17-storey, 12-storey and 11-storey buildings that will transition down to two storeys at the north of the planned area.
