Council will receive an information report at a public meeting June 11 at 6:30pm at City Hall regarding an Official Plan  and Zoning Bylaw Amendment for 53-71 Plains Road East and 1025 Cooke Boulevard. Currently part of the site is vacant, the other part is occupied by Solid Gold strip club. The application proposes two mixed-use, mid-rise buildings of 10 and 12 storeys with retail and service commercial uses at grade and 450 residential units above. Residents can attend and speak at the meeting.
